Sustainability

Choose a greener path. We're leading the way.

Paulsen Architects is Southern Minnesota’s leading and largest firm in planning and designing sustainable buildings. Our professionally accredited Green Team is committed to helping clients understand the financial, human and environmental benefits of sustainable architecture and how balancing those with a building program’s needs and budget can bring success on multiple levels.

From the initial planning stages of site selection and materials analysis to green interior design and through construction to a building’s completion, we work diligently to provide critical information and effective solutions at each stage. With innovative design concepts, green-conscious building  materials and earth-friendly construction techniques, we can help save our environment and take care of the bottom line.

We are members of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) with 100% of our architectural design team and 80% of the firm’s architects, interior designers and project managers being Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Professional accredited. Currently, we have designed six projects which will earn LEED certification.
