Peace Lutheran Church

North Mankato, MN

Almost every component of Peace Lutheran Church is master planned to allow for maximum flexibility, meeting the needs of this growing congregation. The master planning and design of this new "Scandinavian country church" includes a sanctuary for 150, narthex, flexible educational classrooms/fellowship space with kitchen facilities, fireside area and library. The sanctuary is planned and designed for three different phases of expansion, there is room for a potential K-6 grade school on site, additional fellowship space may also be phased and a future gymnasium/multi-purpose center could be added. The classic exterior features white clapboard siding, steeply pitched roofs and a steeple. The project is wood frame construction and the design exemplifies the philosophy and values of a traditional church.
