Paulsen Architects’ staff members earns LEED accreditation

MANKATO, Minn. (January 20, 2009) — Paulsen Architects, a full-service architecture, engineering, interior design and planning firm based in Mankato, announces that two additional staff members have recently earned their Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Professional Accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Eric Lennartson, Associate AIA, LEED AP and Nicole Schroeder, Associate IIDA, LEED AP earned their accreditation by successfully completing a comprehensive examination on their knowledge and skills in the green building design practice/process and their familiarity with LEED requirements and the building application/certification process. In receiving this accreditation, Paulsen Architects continues their commitment to lead the way in designing sustainable buildings that are innovative, employ earth-friendly construction techniques and contain green-conscious building materials. Lennartson is an Architectural Designer and Marketing Development Coordinator at Paulsen Architects and works as a member of the design team as well as using his creative skills to prepare presentations, proposals and publications for the firm. As an Interior Designer, Schroeder is responsible for leading all aspects of interior design from conceptual design to finish, material, furniture and art selection and specification.
