University Square

Located directly across the street from Minnesota State University, Mankato, this new mixed-use, multi-story development features 48 apartments above 70,000 square feet of retail space and effectively helps meet the high demand for student housing close to campus.

Residents are able to enjoy the convenience of having dining, movies, retail and services all on site, fulfilling the owner’s goal of creating a European-style development --one in which students and community members could live, rest and play.

The apartments are a mix of two, three and four bedroom units and all are designed to meet the needs of today’s busy students. Features include easy access to Minnesota State University, Mankato, the latest internet technology, on-site parking for residents and a 24-hour security system.
This highly-visible project features colorful burgundy and yellow EIFS accents on the upper level apartments. Most of the lower level is covered with brick for long-term durability. A structural brick arch colonnade, with a sidewalk wide enough to include outdoor seating, frames the lower level retail tenants and apartment entrances.
