Tavern on the Avenue

The Tavern on the Avenue opened in 1988 as an alternative to the traditional bar. The Tav is now one of the most successful locally-owned modern bars in Greater Mankato. The renovation of the Tav in 2006 is the first complete redesign and update since their opening. The entire interior of the establishment was completely refinished. Granite bar tops, stone walls and columns add a beautiful and durable detail to the space. New millwork, furniture and booths make it a comfortable atmosphere.
