Olives

With a vision to be a restaurant of high energy, bold flavors and an unforgettable dining experience, Olives was designed to be unlike any other in Greater Mankato. Family-owned and operated and located in the newly-constructed Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Mankato, Olives interior design reflects not only its mission, but the menu of classical Mediterranean and American cooking with a slight with European flair.

The open kitchen, complete with a wood burning pizza oven with mosaic tile, is visible upon entering, drawing you in, providing a glimpse into the chef's world and deepening the connection to the dining experience.

Dark woods with rich colors and hint of metal are incorporated into the lighting, walls and textiles, creating an atmosphere that is contemporary, warm and inviting. The backlit bar, which plays up the circular theme of the logo, features translucent panels that glow.

By design, the seating is a balanced mix of private booths, windows that overlook downtown Mankato and views into the open kitchen. The designers scaled the restaurant to create an intimate evening dining experience for the public and hotel guests, but also to accommodate the more functional side of being the exclusive restaurant in a hotel, including catering for meetings, hotel guest breakfast buffets, and room service offerings.
