The Benedictine Living Community of St. Peter

St. Peter, MN

This 64,000 square foot long term care facility is a new building that relocated from an obsolete building that at one time was a hospital. After exploring expansion and renovation costs of bringing their old facility up to code, it was determined that it would be less expensive and more efficient to build new. The entry to the building has a covered canopy and the lobby boasts a beautiful two-story atrium. The lobby is filled with natural light from clerestory windows at the top of the space. The siding is brightly finished with a limestone base, complimenting the Prairie Style details of the building. The project was designed as three buildings--one is the main entry with common amenities and services, linked to two main care center buildings. The entire complex is also linked to the main hospital in St. Peter, maximizing convenience.
