Civil Engineering Paulsen Architects' civil engineering team provides excellent communication and cooperation between architect and engineer to efficiently design the site of your project. Our Civil Engineering staff provides site plans, parking layout, site grading, utility hook ups and erosion and stormwater management plans for our projects. Our engineers are also SWPPP Design Certified through the University of Minnesota
Our projects are designed in the latest engineering software that include Civil 3D, Sketch-Up, GIS and AutoCAD, to meet our clients’ wide variety of engineering needs and budgets.

Forensic Engineering/Investigations Paulsen Architects has a new engineering division, I-Eng-A of Southern Minnesota, which provides investigative/forensic engineering services for the insurance, claims support and risk management industries. I-Eng-A, the Investigative Engineers Association, is a national network of over 75+ member firms with over 800 engineering professionals all whom have completed intensive training courses conducted by select industry experts. As a part of the national I-Eng-A network, our staff is trained in standardized forensic methodology for analysis, documentation, testing, security and reporting, and has access to an extensive database of information. Our team consists of two Investigative Engineer and Fire Investigation Specialists as well as two Property and Environmental Conditions Specialists
