Minnesota State University, Mankato Technology and Teaching Center (TnT)
Mankato, MN
The Technology and Teaching Center (TNT) was created to give the latest technological presentation training tools to Minnesota State University (MSU) faculty and staff. Designed to be away from students, the TNT is a place to gather, discuss, and try new teaching methods and approaches. The classroom has two projection monitors, a visual presenter, scanners and dozens of individual computer workstations. And, keeping with MSU’s mission to be one of the nation’s most wireless-accessible campuses in the country, the entire room is controlled by a tablet PC at the teaching podium. The conference room has a smart marker board, plasma screen monitor, video conferencing and a visual presenter. The production studio features high performance computers, video production, multi-media design software, scanners and CD/DVD burners and the Center’s lobby doubles as a reading area and resource library.
