Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation

Owatonna, MN

When the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation needed a new building for their business operations, our team wanted to give them a space that would reflect their mission of helping build vibrant communities. We also wanted to make sure that the new building would blend into its historic neighborhood. The interior of this economic development agency was designed to be welcoming and comfortable for the variety of communities the organization serves. The building features private offices, an open office area, large meeting/conference room with seating for 50 people, smaller conference rooms, reception/waiting area and break room with kitchenette. The building, situated to take advantage of the existing trees and landscaping, is of wood-frame and masonry construction.
