Chankaska Creek Ranch & Winery

Chankaska Creek Ranch and Winery is located on a former historic farm site in Kasota, Minnesota on the bluff overlooking the Minnesota River. The new two story, 7,500 sf winery and tasting room is sited on the top of a hill surrounded by the forest, farm site and the meandering Chankaska Creek. Remaining historic farm structures were renovated for use as event facilities and storage.

The master planning for the 15 acres includes a 10 acre vineyard, trail system, courts, amphitheater and indoor/outdoor event spaces. Multiple paths and bridges going back and forth over the creek create scenic connections to various outdoor venues, while providing a unique identity to each space.

The winery houses the wine production area and a tasting room with retail store for the public. In the production area, there are wine presses, fermentation tanks, clean room/lab facilities and the Cooperage--an underground barrel storage area. The upper level sits above the production floor. It offers on and off sale wine and the tasting bar as well as other retail opportunities. It is adjacent to the large roof deck, green roof and terraces on the side of the winery. The kitchen features a tile mosaic, wood fired pizza oven.

The winery offers tours, wine testing, special events, live entertainment and features six private event venues.
