Vetter Amphitheater

Mankato, MN

The Vetter Amphitheater is a new musical venue located in Riverfront Park. It, along with the park, has helped attract greater cultural events and festivals for the greater Mankato area. The Vetter family that owns Vetter Stone, a local stone quarry that has provided limestone for landmark building projects around the world, donated 1,500 tons of limestone for the project.

The amphitheater’s new tiered stone walls offer seating for 1,000 people, with space for nearly 12,000 people on the surrounding lawn. The tensile fabric shelter provides a great sound reflector as well as a lighting backdrop for the stage shows.
