City of Mankato Civic Center Expansion

With an eye toward the future, Paulsen Architects helped create the vision for an expanded civic center in downtown Mankato. Pending state bonding money, the City would add an 1,800-seat ice arena for Minnesota State Mankato's women's hockey games, practice facilities, offices and locker rooms for both of the school's Division I programs. The space would also include construction of a 500-seat theater on the east side of the civic center, creating a greater fine arts presence for the community. Both would be connected to the existing building via skyway.
